Carbon Motors has designed what it calls "the world's first purpose-built" law enforcement patrol vehicle. The E7 was designed by law enforcement to better serve their specific needs. There are approximately 19,000 law enforcement agencies in the United States with a combined total of more than 425,000 vehicles.
The standard vehicles currently used burn through 1.5 billion gallons of gasoline annually and emit over 14 million tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere per year. Carbon Motors believes it has designed technology that will improve the performance and durability of the law enforcement vehicle. Carbon Motors also believes it can provide up to a 40 percent improvement in fuel efficiency.
