Gasification

Gasification is a thermochemical process that converts biomass or waste into gaseous components called Producer gas or Syngas. Syngas can be used to fire engines, produce methanol or to create synthetic fuel.

There aren't any byproducts formed in the gasification process that we cannot recycle, and this technology operates at such high temperatures that there are no harmful emissions. Waste gasification technologies address the problem getting rid of refuse, and they meet the challenge of generating clean energy.

A typical Gasification facility can operate as long as the fuel is readily and economically available. That fuel can range from trash to recycled wood. These facilities can operate for up to 30 years.
